Manchester International Festival (MIF) is Back for 2025 with an Exciting Rochdale Installation

The much-anticipated Manchester International Festival (MIF) is back this summer, running from 3rd to 20th July, with an extraordinary lineup of events across the city and beyond.

Taking over Aviva Studios and various venues, MIF25 invites audiences to "Dream Differently" with an exciting blend of new works from both international and homegrown artists. 

One highlight of this year’s programme is a brand-new sound installation by Mumbai-based artist Shilpa Gupta, presented at Rise Inavate (formerly R-Kix) in Rochdale town centre. Created in collaboration with the Rochdale Development Agency, Gupta has worked closely with local communities to develop a thought-provoking piece that will engage and challenge visitors in new ways.
