Rochdale Artists
Rochdale Artists have been meeting in Castleton for over 35 years to enjoy painting and art related activities. Our members come from all over Rochdale borough, and beyond. We are a friendly group who are always willing to share our painting/drawing skills and experience.
We are always happy for new members to join us, and we welcome newcomers of all painting abilities. Our members paint with watercolours, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, colour pencils, etc. We have a weekly programme of painting events, workshops, life drawing, challenges with themes, and art exhibitions, and our members are free to join in with the weekly event,, or "do their own thing' as they wish. There is no pressure.
Currently membership is £12 per year, weekly subs £1.00. Demos are £3.00 Tea/coffee also provided.
Venue: Castleton Community Centre, Keswick Street, Castleton OL11 3BS. Free parking in Centre's carpark, on Keswick Street.
