The themes of Amanda Ryan's art embrace mother earth, identity, nature and climate. She is very concerned with the future of our environment and sees her work as a form of activism.
Amanda paints mainly using acrylic and spray paint. The media she uses is mixed and also includes charcoal, pen, graphite and Chinagraph. The mixed media approach helps to layer the imagery and reinforce her message.
Amanda Ryan was selected for the Rochdale Town of Culture Outdoor Gallery.
