This comprehensive training day will cover four key modules:

1.     The Science of Climate Change
Understand the science behind climate change, its impacts, and how we know it's human-made. This foundational knowledge will equip you to drive cumulative change in your personal and professional life.

2.     Carbon Footprints
Learn how to calculate and reduce carbon footprints for both individuals and organizations. You’ll gain tools for decarbonization and insights into existing positive actions.

3.     Climate Leadership
Explore what makes a great climate leader and why businesses need strong leadership to meet Net Zero targets. Learn why climate action is both ethically and economically crucial.

4.     Mindfulness & Empowerment
Discover how to navigate the emotional and psychological challenges of tackling climate change. This module focuses on mental wellbeing and inter-departmental collaboration.

Robin Lyons is an experienced environmental consultant and trainer, with an MSc in Environmental Governance and a background in creative leadership as the Artistic Director of Ergon Theatre. He has trained organizations in multiple sectors and worked closely with the Carbon Literacy Project to design this tailored course for the arts and culture sector. Robin’s extensive experience and practical approach will ensure you leave the course ready to make a real impact.
